It seemed like Harris was going to make the team when Pierre Strong Jr. was traded to the Browns just a couple of days ago, but New England is now letting Harris go as well. If he clears waivers, the team will likely try to bring him back on the practice squad. This move shows that the Patriots have confidence in Ezekiel Elliott to be an effective backup for Rhamondre Stevenson.
