Kyle Pitts puts up paltry performance in Falcons’ victory over Packers
by Chris Schommer | Falcons Correspondent | Mon, Sep 18th 8:25am EDT
Despite the Atlanta Falcons' thrilling 25-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 2, young tight end Kyle Pitts had a relatively quiet day on the field.
Fantasy Impact:
The 22-year-old was targeted five times, but only managed to reel in two of those passes for a modest 15 yards. While Pitts showed some hustle on defense, tackling Rasual Douglas at GB 40 after an interception, his offensive contribution was less than stellar. His season stats now stand at 8 targets, 4 receptions, and 59 receiving yards with no touchdowns. Fantasy managers will be hoping for a more impactful performance next week when the Falcons take on the Detroit Lions.
