No. 3 QB Mike Kafka looks solid in second quarter of HOF Game

by Jake Perper | Mon, Aug 10th 1:23am EDT

Entering his fourth season and playing for his third team (PHI, TB) previously, QB Mike Kafka played well in the second quarter of Sunday night's Hall of Fame Game win over Pittsburgh. The Vikings QB completed 7 of 10 pass attempts for 66 yards, which included a 34-yard TD strike to rookie TE My Cole Pruitt.

Fantasy Impact:

Kafka hasn't done much in his brief career, appearing in four games back in 2011 with the Eagles, where he completed 11 of 16 passes for 107 yards and two TD's. He is looking to latch on with the Vikes as their No. 3 QB behind Teddy Bridgewater and veteran Shaun Hill. Minnesota also has undrafted rookie Taylor Heinicke. Kafka showed he could be worth keeping at that No. 3 QB spot this season.
