According to Adam Schefter, with Browns' rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson in concussion protocol, veteran Joe Flacco has been taking 1st-team reps and could be in line to start against the Rams. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Flacco was added to the Browns as depth after the Deshaun Watson injury, but not the Super Bowl 42 MVP will have a realistic shot at starting on Sunday against the Rams. Flacco started four games for the Jets a year ago, throwing for over 1,000 yards and managing five touchdowns to three interceptions. He showed a propensity to target Garrett Wilson and perhaps will do the same with Amari Cooper.
