Corey Linsley, Chargers alter deal amid retirement rumors

The Los Angeles Chargers and center Corey Linsley have restructured their contract to create about $10 million in cap space for 2024 and assist in cap allocation if Linsley retires post-June 1. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Linsley (32) had told reporters that he was "99%" sure he would retire this offseason after dealing with injuries the last couple of seasons after a two-season All-Pro stretch. This reworked deal allows the Chargers to spread out the cap hit over multiple years, reducing its effects in the short term if Linsley retires. Linsley has appeared in 132 career games in 10 seasons, starting all of them.
