The injury isn't expected to be anything serious, and Ford-Wheaton should be able to return soon, though his status for New York's first game of the preseason is likely in question. Ford-Wheaton, an undrafted rookie in 2023, spent his rookie year on the Giants' injured reserve after tearing his ACL in Game 3 of the 2023 preseason.
