Travis Hunter attending NFL Scouting Combine as DB

by Jordan Epp | Thu, Feb 13th 12:37pm EST

2025 NFL Draft prospect Travis Hunter, who played both wide receiver and cornerback at Colorado and Jackson State, is set to attend the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine as a participant in the defensive back group. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Hunter excelled at both positions at Colorado, recording 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns with four interceptions and 11 passes defended in 2024. He played both positions full-time, and while he insists he plans to do the same in the NFL, people remain skeptical about the practicality. However, some believe his best position at the NFL level is as a DB first who plays some on offense. His designation at the NFL Combine could be an indication of this, as he may be attending as a DB after receiving feedback from league circles.
