Derek Carr: Saints 'fortunate' to have veteran QB, says HC

Recently hired New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore said the team is "fortunate" to have QB Derek Carr on the team and called him a "tremendous starting quarterback." (Andrew Siciliano on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While Moore did not directly answer the question, which was whether or not the Saints have a decision to make at quarterback or if the answer is on their roster, he still gave the veteran passer his flowers. Given cap implications, signs point toward Carr being on the roster in 2025, though as the veteran QB market heats up, it would not be a surprise either to see Carr get moved. Regardless, Carr should be considered the team's QB1 as long as he is on the roster.
