Geno Smith to meet with Seahawks on extension this week

Schneider said there is no deadline but says Smith is “our guy.” It has been expected all offseason that Geno would remain with the Seahawks. The question was when an extension would come as it would help open up cap space for Seattle. It sounds like an extension could be agreed upon soon.
