Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam described being "cautiously optimistic" that second-round running back Quinshon Judkins would sign and play for the team this season, seemingly waiting for the legal process to work its way through. (92.3 The Fan on Twitter)

While it is good to hear Haslam be optimistic about Judkins' status from a football perspective, it does present the concern that there is an implied chance he may not sign or play to start the Browns' season. While a suspension to open his career seems likely, if the legal process leaks into the regular season, there could seemingly be a chance that he remains unsigned or does not play by Week 1. For a rookie, this raises concerns regarding his productivity in fantasy leagues and makes Jerome Ford and rookie Dylan Sampson intriguing late-round options.
