The Browns in a statement said Judkins “underwent successful surgery this morning to repair a fractured fibula and ankle dislocation." He is expected to make a full recovery for the 2026 season with a return to football activity in 4-6 months.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Quinshon Judkins is set for surgery this week for his ankle dislocation and fractured fibula.
Fantasy Impact
There is no damage to any knee ligaments for Judkins. He is expected to face a 4-5 month timetable for recovery.
Quinshon Judkins (fibula/ankle) suffered a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle and will require surgery. He should be back in 4-5 months and join the Browns for offseason activities.
Fantasy Impact
It's an awful blow to Judkins, but thankfully, despite the severity, it's not as bad as it could have been with other injuries. If Dylan Sampson returns, he will take over backfield duties, but if Sampson is still out, Raheim Sanders looks like the primary rushing option, with Trayveon Williams being the primary pass-catching back.
Quinshon Judkins (leg/knee) has suffered a broken leg in the Browns 23-20 loss to Buffalo on Sunday. He is also being evaluated for a knee injury. Before he left the game, he had 8 carries for 22 yards and caught five of six targets for 29 yards.
Fantasy Impact
The injury looked awful in real time, so much so the broadcast elected not to replay it. His rookie season is over. With Quinshon out, Raheim Sanders took on the majority of the rushing work, with Trayveon Williams as the primary pass catcher. If Dylan Sampson returns from injury, he will likely see the bulk of the backfield work.
