Dameon Pierce seeing action with 1s amid injuries

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce is reportedly getting first-team carries with veteran backs Joe Mixon (foot) and Nick Chubb (undisclosed) out on Aug. 6. (Jonathan M Alexander on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While this does not necessarily mean anything as Pierce is still seemingly behind Mixon and Chubb in the rotation, this does potentially indicate that the fourth-year back is ahead of rookie Woody Marks, who is often ranked ahead of him in fantasy. However, Marks has a stand-alone receiving skill set, and both are buried in the rotation, so neither will likely make a significant impact in 2025.
