The veteran will be sidelined for Friday's preseason game. He has been battling a foot/ankle injury at practice recently, and the team wants to give him as much time as he needs to make a full recovery. Tyquan Thornton and rookie Jalen Royals are both expected to see increased work for however long he remains out.
