Matt Gay joins 49ers

Fantasy Impact:
With the injury to Eddy Pineiro (hamstring), the 49ers tried out multiple kickers over the past couple of days. The team has now added Gay to its practice squad, and the veteran is in line to take over kicking duties until Pineiro returns. Gay spent most of this season with the Commanders, making 13 of 19 field goals and all 22 of his PATs.
