Kyren Williams sees scoring streak end in overtime loss
by Bruno Mulé | Rams Correspondent | Sun, Dec 21st 8:27am EST
Despite commanding the bulk of the backfield work during Thursday's loss to Seattle, Kyren Williams saw his three-game touchdown streak come to a halt. The lead back rushed 23 times for 70 yards and added three catches for 15 yards, but it was teammate Blake Corum who converted the team's short-yardage scoring opportunity in the third quarter.
Fantasy Impact:
While he didn't find the end zone, Williams maintained his steady production on the ground, surpassing 70 rushing yards for the fourth consecutive game and the seventh time in his last eight outings. He remains the clear primary option in the Los Angeles backfield heading into a Week 17 meeting with the Falcons.
