New York Giants D/ST strong in loss to Minnesota on Sunday

by David Leisering | Giants Correspondent | Tue, Dec 23rd 12:41pm EST

The New York Giants D/ST held the Vikings to just 240 yards, recorded four sacks, forced two turnovers and had a fumble return for a score. It wasn't enough, however, as New York suffered a 16-13 loss - its ninth straight setback.

Fantasy Impact:

The Giants' defense did their part on Sunday as they tried to snap their lengthy losing skid. But, New York's offense could not score an offensive touchdown and the streak reached nine consecutive losses. The Giants' only touchdown came on defense as Brian Burns strip sacked J.J. McCarthy late in the first half. Tyler Nubin picked up the loose ball and took it to paydirt from 27 yards out. The Giants visit the Raiders on Sunday in a game that could determine the top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
