Baker Mayfield was forced to air it out often during Sunday's 20-17 loss to Miami, resulting in a season-high 33 completions on 44 attempts for 346 yards and two touchdowns. The veteran quarterback also added 16 rushing yards on three carries, but his production was marred by three turnovers—two interceptions and a lost fumble.
Fantasy Impact:
Mayfield connected with Chris Godwin and Mike Evans for short touchdowns, posting his second 300-yard passing performance of the season as the Buccaneers played from behind for much of the contest. However, his late-game miscues proved critical in the defeat. Mayfield and the Buccaneers will now face the Panthers in a decisive Week 18 matchup that will determine the NFC South champion.
