Barryn Sorrell has solid line in first NFL start Sunday

by David Leisering | Packers Correspondent | Sun, Jan 4th 6:51pm EST

Barryn Sorrell made his first NFL start on Sunday on the defensive line and registered eight tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery in the Packers' 16-3 loss to Minnesota.

Fantasy Impact:

Sorrell, a fourth-round pick out of Texas in the 2025 draft, made his first career start on Sunday and played quite well. He entered the game with seven total stops in 13 games, but had a solid afternoon against the Vikings with five solo tackles, three assisted stops, a sack, and a fumble recovery. While he more than likely won't be a factor during the postseason, he could be a name to monitor next season.
