Jauan Jennings: 49ers want to bring WR back

The San Francisco 49ers reportedly would like to bring back wide receiver Jauan Jennings, who is set to become a free agent in 2026. (David Lombardi on Twitter)

Jennings' two-year contract expires at the end of the season, but the 49ers could be looking to bring back their leading receiver after a tumultuous offseason in 2025. Jennings recorded 55 receptions for 643 yards, serving as a red-zone weapon with nine touchdowns. He battled through several injuries, as did much of the team, playing in 15 games while George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Ricky Pearsall missed time. Finding common ground on the price could be tricky, but the 49ers have the opportunity to extend him before he hits free agency.
