Former Penn State star running back Nicholas Singleton (foot) suffered a broken foot at Senior Bowl practice on Thursday. He will undergo surgery next week and will not be able to participate in the NFL Combine. (Joe Smeltzer on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Terrible news for the former Nittany Lion running back. Singleton, statistically, had his worst season in Happy Valley as a senior, finishing with just 549 yards rushing and 219 yards receiving. He did, however, run for a career-best 13 scores in 2025. He finished his collegiate career with 3,461 yards on the ground, 987 receiving yards, and 54 total touchdowns. Singleton's size and running style make him an intriguing prospect, but his draft stock has been fluctuating due to his down senior season. Most mock drafts had him projected to go late in day two or early in day three, but since he won't participate in the Combine, that may change.
