Kyle Pitts Sr. receives franchise tag from Atlanta

Kyle Pitts Sr. has officially been franchise tagged by the Atlanta Falcons. This will give the team another year to work out a potential contract extension should they desire. (Adam Schefter on X)
Fantasy Impact:
It was rumored that the Falcons were going to tag him, and those rumors turned out to be true. HC Kevin Stefanski heavily utilized tight ends while in Cleveland, and it's likely Pitts will operate in a David Njoku-like fashion, albeit Pitts is more of an oversized receiver. His fantasy value is still a little murky given the QB situation in Atlanta.
