Fantasy Impact:
Whittington earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention accolades last season after rushing for 829 yards and six touchdowns with Oregon. He finished his career with 2,950 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns - averaging 5.6 yards per attempt - and added 90 receptions for 544 yards and four touchdowns. The running back situation in Houston does have some question marks after newly-acquired David Montgomery and second-year pro Woody Marks, so an opportunity does exist for Whittington.
