Matthew Stafford has agreed to a one-year, $55 million extension with the Rams. He is now under contract for LA for the next two seasons. (Adam Schefter via X)
Fantasy Impact:
The Rams are in a Super Bowl window, so this is hardly a surprising move. Stafford will give them the boost they need off of an MVP season to help them continue to compete for the next two years. As for Ty Simpson, it looks like he will be on the Jordan Love trajectory where we will need to wait at least two years to really get a shot as a starter.
