Sam LaPorta is currently dealing with a hip injury, and HC Dan Campbell told reporters that the team is uncertain if it will affect his availability for Week 1. (Tim Twentyman on Twitter)

LaPorta injured his hip on a hit in practice recently. The team is uncertain about the severity of it at this point and will be giving him a few days off to rest and recover before reevaluating. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to this situation, as he may not be worth drafting at his current ADP if he has to miss one or more games at the start of the regular season.
