Darron Lee posts solid Combine numbers for potential first-round pick

by Steve Painter | Tue, Mar 1st 2:40pm EST

Lee blistered the 40-yard dash at 4.47, had a 35.5 inch vertical, an 11.1-foot broad jump, and a 4.2 in the 20-yard shuttle. He played QB and safety in high school but moved to the OLB position while at Ohio State, where he performed very well. He is fast and tends to fly-in on plays unbalanced. There is no doubt that he'll be successful in the NFL but he will need to add muscle to withstand the rigors of his position at that level. He stands 6-foot-1 and weighs in at 232. That's a good size for a safety. (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

No matter where they put him, Lee will excel. He has tremendous confidence and rightfully so because he has done well at each stop along the way. He is a near-certain first round pick in the upcoming draft.
