Can Thomas Duarte make transition to TE?

The Dolphins drafted Thomas Duarte in the seventh round as a tight end, yet he spent his time at UCLA mainly as a slot receiver. At 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, it appears the Dolphins are looking for more than just someone to stay on the line and block. The idea would be to use Duarte as a flex tight end. “Obviously, I’m trying to work on my in-line blocking,†says Duarte. “Catching the football is what I’ve done in the past, just right now I’m trying to make it balanced, make myself versatile.†(Palm Beach Post)
Fantasy Impact:
Duarte finds himself on a roster behind Jordan Cameron, Dion Sims and Jake Stoneburner. He’s not a lock to make the team, but may find a spot on special teams if the team decides to keep two tight ends or he can’t replace Stoneburner.
