Kelechi Osemele to improve Oakland's ground game in 2016

The Oakland Raiders bolstered their offensive line this offseason when they signed Kelechi Osemele from the Baltimore Ravens. Osemele is outstanding in pass protection but is also a force in the ground game. Offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave told the team's official website that Osemele is a "tremendous run blocker." “We’ve seen that on film when he was in Baltimore. He’s good in pass blocking. We anticipate his run blocking to help our run game be more productive.†(The Official Website of the Oakland Raiders)
Fantasy Impact:
The Raiders finished 28th in the NFL in total rushing in 2015 with1,457 yards and seven touchdowns. Latavius Murray will benefit most in the wake of Kelechi Osemele's signing as he is the starting running back on an up and coming Raiders team. Coming from Baltimore, Osemele is accustomed to playing in an offense that emphasizes the run so the adjustment factor is slim for the veteran guard.
