NFL trainer Todd Durkin believes that Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz will have his breakout season in 2016. “Zach’s a special breed, a throwback kind of guy . . . As long as the quarterback throws him the ball, I think he’s going to do great things,” Durkin said via Philly.com. (Philly.com)

Fantasy Impact:

With all of the question marks and changes to the Philadelphia Eagles' offense in 2016, the tight end position appears to be intact. Zach Ertz has been impressive thus far in his three-year career and is poised to breakout this season. Ertz was one of the most targeted players during Philadelphia's offseason workouts and it will likely carry over into the regular season as his total receptions and yards increased each year leading up to the upcoming campaign. Consider Ertz a low-end TE1 with solid upside especially in PPR formats. He could serve as the safety blanket for whichever quarterback lines up under center for the team which bodes well for his value in that scoring system.
