Reggie Ragland suffers knee injury

by Anthony Cervino | Fri, Aug 5th 2:55pm EDT

Buffalo Bills LB Reggie Ragland (knee) suffered a non-contact knee injury during Friday's practice. Head coach Rex Ryan told beat writer Joe Buscaglia that he is "very concerned" about the rookie's ailment despite being unsure of the severity of it and that he doesn't believe that there was ligament damage sustained to the knee. Fantasy Impact:

The Buffalo Bills are already without first-round pick Shaq Lawson, who will be sidelined for an extended period of time due to offseason shoulder surgery. Presently, their second-round selection, Reggie Ragland, could miss time due to a knee injury that occurred during Friday's practice. Buffalo's defense was heavily counting on Ragland and Lawson in 2016 and their absence could dramatically curb their fantasy outlook. Buffalo's D/ST should be avoided in the fantasy draft and should remain on the waiver wire to start the season.
