Juwan Thompson promoted from practice squad

The Denver Broncos have promoted RB Juwan Thompson to their active roster from the practice squad on Saturday. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson will take C.J. Anderson's roster spot and could challenge Kapri Bibbs for the role of the No. 2 back on the depth chart. Thompson only totaled 99 yards last season, but he rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns during his rookie campaign in 2014. With Bibbs an unproven commodity in the NFL, the Broncos could be more inclined to work Thomspon into the running back rotation sooner rather than later. Thompson could be a sneaky waiver wire add for the second half of 2016.
