Broncos' DST gives up season-high points in loss to Chiefs
by Blake Glosson | Broncos Correspondent | Mon, Dec 26th 1:52am EST
The Broncos allowed 33 points, 484 total yards, and 238 rushing yards in their 33-10 loss to the Chiefs in Week 15. They had one interception and no sacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Safe to say it was the worst defensive performance of the season for the defending champs, and it came at the wrong time for both the Broncos and fantasy owners. The loss eliminated Denver from playoff contention, and it surely didn't help owners of the Broncos' DST in their fantasy playoffs either. If your fantasy league happens to extend playoffs to Week 17, or if you're playing in daily leagues, the Broncos' DST does have an intriguing matchup against a Derek-Carr-less Raiders offense on New Years Day. Even with the Broncos out of the playoffs, their DST is still worth at least considering with the QB issues in Oakland.
