Aaron Colvin
CB -
Week 3 Outlook
CB Aaron Colvin is re-signing with the Washington Redskins, per team.
Fantasy Impact
Colvin started his career in Jacksonville back in 2014. He spent four seasons with the Jaguars before signing a four-year, $34M deal with the Texans in 2018. Things didn’t pan out for Colvin in Houston, and he was cut and ended up signing with the Redskins in 2019. He’ll look to provide veteran leadership and depth in the secondary in Washington.
The Texans have downgraded cornerback Aaron Colvin (ankle) from questionable to out for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. He did not make the trip to Denver.
Fantasy Impact
Colvin was a limited participant in practice all week but it wasn’t enough to play in the game. He hasn’t been active since injuring his ankle against the Colts in Week 4.
Aaron Colvin will reportedly sign a 4-year contract with the Houston Texans once free agency officially opens.
Fantasy Impact
After four seasons with the Jaguars, Colvin will fill a hole in the Texans secondary that ranked 25th in DVOA pass defenses.
Aaron Colvin had nine solo tackles in the win for the Jaguars against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fantasy Impact
Colvin had a breakout game against the Steelers. Colvin hasn't gotten much game time with arguably the best duo at DBs, Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye, in the league. Colvin is worth keeping putting on your watchlist as the season goes on.
