DT - LAR
This Week Outlook
Rams DL Aaron Donald (ribs) was removed from the team's final injury report and will play on Saturday against the Packers.
The expectation all week has been that Donald will play. LA will certainly need their stud defensive lineman on the road in Green Bay, opposite Aaron Rodgers and company.
Rams coach Sean McVay says DL Aaron Donald (ribs) "will be ready" for Saturday's Divisional Round matchup against the Packers.
However, Donald is expected to rest for the entire week leading up to Saturday's action. LA will certainly need Donald to be effective in order to have a shot at slowing down Aaron Rodgers on the road.
Rams coach Sean McVay says he's "hopeful" that DL Aaron Donald (rib) plays in the Divisional Round.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Nework reports that X-rays didn't reveal any broken bones. It sounds like Donald is likely to give it a go next weekend but he might not be at 100 percent. Just having Donald on the field, even in a limited capacity, is a major plus for LA's defense.
Aaron Donald racked up four total tackles and two sacks in Sunday’s win over the Bears.
Donald is currently sitting at 35 total tackles, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles through Week 11. He should be started across all leagues.
Aaron Donald ended Sunday’s win over the Bengals with three solo tackles and one sack.
The Rams are on Bye in Week 9, so look to replace Donald with Matt Ioannidis (Washington) or Linval Joseph (Minnesota). Once Donald returns, continue to start him on a regular basis.
