Adam Jones expected back this week

Broncos cornerback Adam Jones (thigh) is expected to return to the practice field this week and “is ready to play” Sunday against the Chiefs according to coach Vance Joseph.

Fantasy Impact

Jones missed the past two weeks with a thigh injury. He has nine tackles and one interception in four games this season.

Adam Jones ruled out for Thursday

Broncos cornerback Adam Jones (thigh) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact

Jones missed Week 6 with the same injury. He doesn’t hold value in IDP.

Adam Jones joins the Denver Broncos

34-year-old veteran cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos. Jones has played 11 NFL season with the Titans, Cowboys, and most recently, an eight-year stay with the Bengals. The 2005 first-rounder missed the 2007 and 2009 seasons but logged an All-Pro and Pro Bowl season with Cincinnati. He's returned a pair of his 16 career interceptions for touchdowns and also has five punt return scores.

Fantasy Impact

After parting ways with Aqib Talib, the Broncos were looking to shore up their depth behind Chris Harris, Bradley Roby, and Tramaine Brock. Jones will probably come in on 'dime' defense and could occasionally fill in as a punt returner.

Adam Jones to sign with Denver

ESPN reports that former Bengals cornerback Adam Jones will sign with the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact

Denver and head coach Vance Joseph hosted Jones for a workout on Sunday which apparently went well enough for the team to go ahead and make an offer, which he accepted. Joseph, of course, is the former defensive backs coach for Cincinnatti and now 'Pacman' will rejoin him following his own seven-year tenure with the Bengals. Jones will turn 35 on September 30th, and will likely start off by competing for rotational snaps behind both Chris Harris and Bradley Roby.

Adam Jones gets tryout with Browns

According to a tweet from ESPN's Adam Schefter, free agent cornerback Adam Jones will try out with the Cleveland Browns on Friday.

Fantasy Impact

Jones became a free agent after the Cincinnati Bengals declined to pick up his option this past spring. The veteran cornerback is coming off hernia surgery but he has since proclaimed himself fully healthy. If he earns a roster spot, he would presumably push for snaps behind projected starters Denzel Ward and T.J. Carrie.
