Adoree' Jackson
CB - New York Giants
2024 Outlook
Adoree' Jackson has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson will miss a second straight game as he remains in concussion protocol. He did not practice all week. He'll have to return to practice at some point next week to have a chance at returning in Week 12.
Giants' CB Adoree' Jackson will miss the next 4-6 weeks after suffering an MCL sprain in the Giants' loss to the Lions on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
It's a brutal blow for the Giants following their blowout loss on Sunday. They'll now be short one of their top corners as they battle to keep pace in the NFC playoff race. A Thanksgiving divisional tilt with the Cowboys awaits for the G-Men on Thursday.
Per Giants beat writer Pat Leonard, CB Adoree' Jackson (quad) has also tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play Sunday vs the Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson had already been dealing with a quad injury so the fact that he has been declared out for Sunday isn't shocking. More so than anything this might be an indication to keep an eye out for other possible COVID-19 cases for the Giants as they get ready to play the Cowboys on Sunday.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Former Titans’ CB Adoree Jackson reached an agreement today on a three-year, $39 million deal with the New York Giants
Fantasy Impact
After being released before his fifth year, the Giants have signed Jackson to a strong three-year contract. The deal will pay the veteran $39 million through the lifespan of the contract but he will receive $16 million in year one, and $27 million just over two seasons. The Giants continue to add defensive help and get better through as they added star Lions receiver Kenny Golloday earlier in the week.
Current free-agent and former Tennesse Titans CB Adoree' Jackson is reportedly interested in visiting with both the New York Giants and potentially the Philadelphia Eagles afterward, per ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson enters his fifth season as a free agent after being released by the Titans earlier in the offseason. He is reportedly interested in visiting with both the Giants and Eagles, two teams in the NFC East that have seen defensive back departures and could use help from the spry, sure-handed tackling of Jackson. After playing just three games in 2020 due to suffering a knee injury, Jackson would be an immediate upgrade to either team. He has impressive career totals of 200 tackles, 33 pass deflections, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions throughout his four years as a starter in Tennessee.
