Alan Ball

Alan Ball and the Bears secondary had their best day of the year despite allowing a touchdown to Jimmy Graham. The defense was on the field often since the Bears' offense could not sustain drives, but the secondary looked decent. Ball played a part in that as he recorded five solo tackles, four assists, and a pass deflection in the end zone that stopped a possible touchdown.

Fantasy Impact

Alan Ball is not a guy worth owning in IDP leagues. He would not be starting for many other teams in the NFL. He has shown progress over the last two weeks, but too many better options exist.

Alan Ball and Kyle Fuller were both picked on by the Cardinals on Sunday. Ball committed a 38-yard pass interference penalty that helped lead to a Cardinals' score. He did have a nice pass deflection later in the game though. He also finished with three tackles and one assist.

Fantasy Impact

Alan Ball has little to no fantasy value in IDP at this point. He should not be owned. Too many other DB options exist at the moment. Focus on the safety position as more often than not, the safety will record higher tackle numbers.
