Pierce had X-rays return negative on his injury on Sunday. Head coach Shane Steichen said the team is "still gathering information" after Pierce aggravated his surgically repaired left heel in Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Pierce came up lame while running a route in the first quarter, favoring his surgically repaired heel. He couldn't put any weight on it before he was examined in the blue tent or as he was loaded onto the cart to take him back to the locker room. He is now out and don't be surprised if he misses time. Tyler Warren, Josh Downs, and Keenan Allen will lead the receiving corps with Pierce out, with Laquon Treadwell mixed in.
