Alex Erickson leads Bengals in receiving in finale

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Alex Erickson caught all six of his targets for 63 yards in a 16-13 loss to the Steelers in Week 17.

Fantasy Impact

With A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd sidelined, Erickson was Jeff Driskel's favorite target in the game. Erickson will go back to a reserve role in 2019 when Green and Boyd return to health.

Alex Erickson catches two passes

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Alex Erickson caught two passes for 35 yards in his team's 26-18 loss to the Browns in Week 16.

Fantasy Impact

Erickson converted both of his targets on the afternoon. Pressed into service with A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd out for the year, Erickson should be one of the Bengals' top targets in Week 17.

Fantasy Impact

Erickson saw some extra run with Tyler Boyd leaving in the third quarter with a knee injury. Erickson is now up to 12 catches on the year. He will not be a fantasy option in any sized league in Week 16 against the Browns.

Alex Erickson with two catches in loss

Alex Erickson caught two of his three targets for eight yards against the Steelers Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Erickson has a limited role in the offense and is mostly used as a return man. He's not relevant outside of leagues that award points for return yards.

Alex Erickson signs two-year extension

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed Alex Erickson to a two-year extension, keeping the third-year WR/KR under contract through 2020. Erickson serves as the team's return specialist and occasional wideout. He played 187 offensive snaps last season and put up a 12/180/1 receiving line.

Fantasy Impact

The addition of John Ross and Auden Tate won't help Erickson make any more impact as a wideout. His only fantasy value is with leagues that reward points for return yardage.
