Allen Reisner

Baltimore Ravens reserve tight end Allen Reisner was placed on IR on Monday for the ankle surgery on his broken ankle from last month (Baltimore Sun).

Reisner was an undrafted rookie in 2011 and has spend time with the Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars recording seven receptions for 58 yards (NFL). Injury-prone TE that has bounced around the NFL.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Allen Reisner broke his ankle in the Preseason opener on Thursday against the New Orleans Saints. According to Coach Harbaugh, he had surgery on Thursday to repair the damage.

Reisner was a reserve TE on fourth string, according to the Ravens depth chart. He is a 3rd year veteran that played 10 games, no starts for the Minnesota Vikings in 2011 and 2012 and he played 5 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars recording five receptions for 40 yards (NFL). Possibly a season-ender. A roster spot is not in his future.
