A former sixth-round pick by the Chargers in the 2020 NFL Draft, Gilman was traded to Baltimore in October after spending his first five-plus years with the Chargers. He has picked off five career passes and batted down another 27 passes in his six-year career. Gilman, who was on the field for 98% of defensive snaps in his time with the Ravens, should occupy one of the starting safety spots in Kansas City.
