Anrdre Hal
CB - Houston Texans
2024 Outlook
The Texans have ruled out safety Andre Hal (shoulder) for Thursday’s game against the Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact
Hal played 29 of 68 snaps in Week 7, his first game back after recovering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He injured his shoulder in the process, though, which will keep him out for at least one game. The Texans will also be without cornerback Aaron Colvin (ankle), offensive lineman Zach Fulton (ankle), tight end Ryan Griffin (illness), linebacker Brian Peters (ankle) and cornerback Shareece Wright (shoulder/hand/groin).
Texans safety Andre Hal was activated from the reserve/non-football illness list Saturday. He was declared cancer-free in September and returned to the practice field this week.
Fantasy Impact
It’s great to see him back after he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in May. His return allows the Texans to move Kareem Jackson, who has been playing safety, back to corner. Hal started all 16 games in 2017 and will be eligible to play Sunday against the Jaguars.
