Antoine Wesley
WR - FA
2023 Outlook
The Arizona Cardinals placed Antoine Wesley on injured reserve Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Wesley has been dealing with a groin and hip injury since early in training camp. The wide receiver will miss at least the first four games of the regular season.
Darren Urban of the Arizona Cardinals official site reports that WR Antoine Wesley has signed his exclusive rights tender which will keep him in Arizona for 2022.
Fantasy Impact
Wesley, who played collegiately at Texas Tech and was named as an All-American in 2018, spent the first two seasons of his NFL career on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Wesley finally made his way onto an active NFL roster with the Cardinals last season and he recorded 19 catches for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wesley, who’s still just 24 years-old, could possibly find more playing time in 2022 with AJ Green’s departure in free agency, but he still sits behind DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore on Arizona’s depth chart and the Cardinals could be a team that’s in the market for additional WR help via the draft or free agency. For now, Wesley isn’t worthy of a draft pick in redraft leagues but he can be viewed as a late round dart throw in best ball and dynasty leagues with deep benches.
Arizona Cardinals' WR Antoine Wesley caught 2-of-4 targets for 29 yards in the team's Week 16 loss to the Colts.
Fantasy Impact
Wesley's target share again benefited from the absence of DeAndre Hopkins. He was the second most targeted WR on the team but can be left on waivers for championship week. Though, his production to finish the season is something to monitor for dynasty leagues.
Arizona Cardinals' WR Antoine Wesley caught just 3-of-8 targets for 19 yards in Sunday's Week 15 loss to the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Wesley's target share again benefited from the absence of DeAndre Hopkins Sunday. However, he can be left on waivers with the exception of deep leagues. His production to finish the season is something to watch for dynasty leagues.
Arizona Cardinals' WR Antoine Wesley caught all four targets for 44 yards in Sunday's Week 11 win over the Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact
Wesley again benefited from the absence of DeAndre Hopkins Sunday, but has proven to be a sure-handed option. For now, he can be left on waivers with the exception of very deep leagues, but his production is one to keep an eye on.
