The Tennessee Titans re-signed Antonio Andrews to a one-year deal on Thursday.
Antonio Andrews appeared in 14 games in 2015 including 10 starts. Andrews led the Titans dismal rushing attack with 520 yards on 143 attempts and three touchdowns.
Antonio Andrews had 14 carries for 45 yards and five receptions (on six targets) for 25 yards against the Patriots on Sunday.
Andrews didn't have any flashy plays against the Pats, but he got the ball often enough for the volume to lead to a decent fantasy day. Andrews is a decent flex play next week against the Texans.
Antonio Andrews finished with eight yards on four carries against the Jets. He did have a 41 yard touchdown pass to Marcus Mariota to save his fantasy day.
The Titans ground game was non existent all day. Then they feel behind and were forced to throw more in a comeback attempt. Andrews should remain as the lead back, but it doesn't look like a favorable matchup against the Patriots next week.
RB Antonio Andrews finished with 58 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries. He added one catch for ten yards.
Andrews had a few good runs, but was mostly held in check besides a one-yard touchdown run just before halftime. What's concerning for Andrews owners was his 50/50 split in carries with rookie David Cobb. Luckily Andrews still appeared to be the better back, but Cobb could continue to get more work as they close the season.
Andrews, like the rest of the Titan offense, had a rough time getting things going in the rain. He did catch a pass for 14 yards, but otherwise it was an underwhelming day for the RB.
He may lead the RB committee, but he's no more than an RB3 next week against a team with a pretty stout run defense, Jacksonville.
