Jonathan Gannon has been fired by the Arizona Cardinals after three seasons with the team.

Gannon failed to do much with the Cardinals in his three seasons, especially on the defensive side. As someone who was seen as seen as a good defensive hire thanks to his work as Philadelphia’s DC, Gannon’s defense became one of the worst units in the league in 2025, minus the play of Buddy Baker. He will look to find a home elsewhere and the Cardinals will begin their head coach search alongside a handful of other teams.
