Armani Rogers
TE - Washington Commanders
2024 Outlook
Commanders tight end Armani Rogers suffered a torn Achilles in practice on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Rodgers is expected to undergo surgery next week. He is expected to make a full recovery, but he'll be sidelined indefinitely. Rodgers converted to tight end last season and was going to be battling for a role behind Logan Thomas among the Commanders tight end room.
Armani Rogers caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in the Commanders' Week 7 win on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Rogers was the latest in a carousel of Commanders tight ends to lead the team in targets since Logan Thomas has been sidelined. Rogers was also used as a QB on one play as he played some at the position in high school and college. When Thomas does return Rogers will no longer have any fantasy merit, butt perhaps Rogers is the Commander's TE to own in deeper dynasty formats, specifically tight-end premium leagues.
