Availability
The Atlanta Falcons D/ST had themselves a nice defensive showing in a game they won 35-14, getting a sack and an interception along the way.
Fantasy Impact
While they didn't get many turnovers or sacks, they simply made it tough for the Packers to move the balll, forcing many punts throughout the night. The Packers still found paydirt with Matthew Golden and Christian Watson, but it was not nearly enough to turn things around. The Falcons will try to limit the Saints offense next time out.
The Atlanta Falcons D/ST managed two sacks but not much else in their 34-3 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
The Falcons' defense was completely outclassed by the Panthers' offense and was largely powerless to stop them. They're a tough unit to stream moving forward.
The Falcons D/ST allowed 20 points while picking up two sacks and forcing a turnover in a 20-13 loss to the Steelers in Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
Atlanta's defense turned in a solid effort, limiting the Steelers to 264 yards of total offense in the loss. They recovered a Jaylen Warren fumble in the game, while Za'Darius Smith notched both of the team's sacks. The Falcons will now take on a Panthers defense that allowed 59 points to the Bears in Week 1.
Atlanta Falcons are finalizing a deal to hire Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach.
Fantasy Impact
Stefanski was let go by the Browns after a couple of disappointing seasons, and immediately was a hot name in the coaching cycle. He now finds a new home with plenty of offensive firepower, however he must navigate the quarterback situation yet again, but at least this time he has Michael Penix and Kirk Cousins to work with.
The Falcons D/ST allowed 17 points on 340 total yards with one interception, one fumble recovery and four sacks in Week 18 against the Saints.
Fantasy Impact
The Falcons D/ST took a huge step forward this year after investing in the unit last offseason. They should remain on the fantasy radar heading into next season.
