With running back Kendre Miller landing on the season-ending IR, the Saints found themselves needing to add depth in the offensive backfield. Estime spent his rookie season in Denver after the Broncos selected him in the fifth round of the 2024 draft. Over 13 games last season, Estime rushed for 310 yards and two scores on 76 carries. He could soon be starter Alvin Kamara's top backup.

Estime did not stay a free agent for long after being cut by the Broncos earlier in the week, as the Eagles are now signing him on as a member of their practice squad. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to have much of a role for the team early on in the season.

Former Denver Broncos running back Audric Estimé is not expected to re-sign with the Broncos if he clears waivers on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Estimé was waived on Aug. 26 after falling out of favor in a crowded Broncos backfield. With J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin, and Tyler Badie in tow, Estimé would be no more than a practice squad option. Reportedly, Estimé is a candidate to get picked up on waivers, but if he does not, he may look elsewhere for a new home.
