Austin Blythe

Per Adam Schefter, former Chiefs center Austin Blythe will sign with the Seahawks.

Blythe has started 49 games in his career with 48 of them on the Rams. The 29-year-old will look to help Seattle who finished the 2021 campaign with the 25th ranked offensive line according to PFF. The Seahawks have been active making moves while trying to figure out the direction of their team.

Nice payday for the former 2016 seventh-round pick out of Iowa. He was selected by the Colts in that draft, played one season with them before joining the Rams in 2017. He’s been a quality starter for Los Angeles and he’ll be coming back on a one-year deal to protect QB Jared Goff in 2020.
