John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a contract extension through the 2025 season.
This has been expected for a while. Harbaugh will look to take Baltimore back to the playoffs this upcoming season after the Ravens just missed the postseason this past year. The division won't get any easier with the Bengals upgraded offensive line and Deshaun Watson coming to Cleveland, but Baltimore has been a consistent playoff contender in recent years under Harbaugh.
The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly nearing a contract extension with head coach John Harbaugh.
Harbaugh has been with the Ravens since 2008. He has a regular-season record of 137-88 over his 14 seasons. Under Harbaugh, the Ravens had made the playoffs each of the last three seasons before narrowly missing the postseason in 2021. To be fair, Harbaugh played a significant share of the season without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, and the team was still able to finish 8-9 in a competitive AFC North division.
According to Doug Kyed, The Ravens and DC Don Martindale have parted ways.
Martindale, who coached the Ravens on defense since 2018, has agreed to part ways with the team after a sub-par year on defense.
The Baltimore Ravens D/ST picked up one sack and forced one turnover in a 16-13 overtime loss to the Steelers in Week 18.
Baltimore limited Pittsburgh to just 318 yards of total offense but was unable to stop them on a game-winning field goal in overtime.
The Baltimore Ravens D/ST played well in a 20-19 loss to the Rams in Week 17. Baltimore notched one sack and forced three turnovers in the close loss.
Baltimore got a defensive touchdown on a pick-six by Chuck Clark in the first quarter. Clark himself had a huge game as he added on another interception and three passes defended in the contest. The Ravens D/ST will be a strong fantasy option against the Steelers in Week 18.
