Church was benched last week for rookie Ronnie Harrison who will once again play in his place vs Tennessee. With Church’s struggles this season, all signs are pointing towards an end for the veteran in Jacksonville. The Jaguars would save $6.25 million if they release him after the season.

Jaguars defensive backs Barry Church, Ronnie Harrison, D.J. Hayden, and Jarrod Wilson were reportedly arrested Friday evening at a nightclub in London. The four allegedly tried to fight bouncers at the club after failing to pay their nearly $50,000 bill. Nobody was charged with a crime and the issue was eventually resolved. The four are now back with the team but it is unclear if they will play in Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

The Jaguars released a statement stating: “We are aware that four of our players were detained over restitution of a bill. The matter is being resolved and the players are with the team. Any discipline will be handled internally.”

Barry Church had a combined seven tackles and one pass deflection against the Indianapolis Colts.

Church played well in Indy. He is playing in an elite secondary with an elite defensive line. There doesn't seem to be any weaknesses on this defense. Church and the Jacksonville Jaguars are on bye in Week 8.

Church had a pick-six against the Steelers in his best performance of the season. Church and the Jaguars secondary continue to play at a high level. Church should be on the radar for IDP leagues, probably as a streamer.
